Connect your WhatsApp (keep your number)
Connect your WhatsApp Business with your same number, step by step, with the help of "My first day". What you need, how it's done and what to do if it fails.

You can connect your WhatsApp Business number to NeuroAI without losing it: you keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone and, at the same time, NEO and your team answer from NeuroAI. It's included on the Organize, Grow and Scale plans, and you connect it yourself with the help of "My first day".
What you need
- A number with WhatsApp Business (the app) on your phone, with your chats.
- Your phone in hand, because WhatsApp will ask you to confirm with a code.
- To be an administrator of your business's Facebook page.
- Your name and address matching your business documents.
- Facebook two-step verification turned on.
- About 15 minutes and a computer: the screen doesn't fit on a phone.
How it's connected
- Open "My first day" (bottom left), go to the "Connect your WhatsApp" step and click Yes when NEO asks whether you talk to customers on WhatsApp.
- Tick the boxes under "Before you start" and click I have everything. If something is missing, click Something is missing.
- Click Take me there: Settings › WhatsApp opens.
- Sign in with Facebook, pick your business and your number, and confirm the code WhatsApp shows on your phone.
- Accept the permissions Meta asks for, the company that owns WhatsApp.
When you accept, Meta may show the technical name of our connection provider instead of the name NeuroAI. This is normal and safe: it's the connector that brings your WhatsApp messages into your account.
- Send yourself "Hello" from another phone. When it arrives, NEO sees it's connected and ticks the step off.
While it connects, don't sign out of WhatsApp Business on your phone.
If your plan includes WhatsApp and you see a price to connect it, don't pay: click I need help on the step. If your plan doesn't include it, the step takes you to add it, and you see the price before you confirm.
What happens next
- Your new messages show up in Messages.
- You can reply from NeuroAI or from your phone: it's the same conversation.

If something goes wrong
- The code doesn't arrive: check your phone has signal and it's the right number.
- A Meta permissions error appears: click I need help on the step, or write to us with a screenshot and we'll guide you in writing.
