Connect Facebook and Instagram

When you connect Facebook and Instagram, your customers' direct messages land in Messages, next to your other channels. That way you don't jump from app to app.

Before connecting

1. 1Instagram must be a professional account (business or creator).
2. 2That Instagram account must be linked to your Facebook page.
3. 3You must be an admin of that page.

Connect

1. 1Go to Settings › Integrations.
2. 2Find Facebook and Instagram and click Connect.
3. 3Sign in with your Facebook account.
4. 4Choose your page (the one linked to Instagram) and your Instagram account.
5. 5Accept the permissions Meta asks for: view and reply to messages, and view comments. If you decline them, messages won't arrive.

When you accept, Meta may show the technical name of our connection provider instead of the name NeuroAI. This is normal and safe: it's the connector that brings your messages into your account.

1. 1Click again to confirm the connection and wait for it to finish.

If you manage several pages, pick only this business's.

Check that it works

1. 1From another account, send a direct message to your Facebook page and another to your Instagram.
2. 2Go to Messages and check they arrive.
3. 3Reply to one of them to see it goes out fine.

The first time someone writes to you here, NeuroAI creates their profile in Contacts.

What NEO can do here

If NEO is on for these channels, it answers the messages. It can also reply to comments with "Comment and we'll DM you": see "Comment and we'll DM you" and Which channels NEO answers on.

If something goes wrong

• Your page doesn't show: check you're an admin and that you accepted all the permissions.
• Instagram doesn't show: confirm it's professional and linked to the page.
• Messages don't arrive: disconnect and reconnect, or write to support@neuroaistudio.com.
