Use your own domain

Connect a domain you own (like yourbusiness.com) to your NeuroAI website, guided by "My first day". How long it takes and what to check if it doesn't show.

Updated

A domain is your website's address, like yourbusiness.com. With your own domain, customers find you easily and your emails look more professional.

The easy option: with "My first day"

In "My first day", the "Connect your own domain" step takes you to the right screen and tells you what to copy. You do it yourself, at your own pace, and if you get stuck you click I need help. Would you rather have a person connect it with you? You can do it in Onboarding, with an agent from the NeuroAI team.

Step by step

First you need access to where you bought the domain (GoDaddy, Namecheap, your internet provider…).

  1. In NeuroAI, click Settings › Domains & URL Redirects.
  2. Click Add Domain and type yours.
  3. The app will show you some DNS records: lines with a type, a name and a value.
  4. Sign in to your domain provider's panel and find DNS or Manage DNS.
  5. Add each record exactly as shown, without changing anything.
  6. Go back to NeuroAI and click the verify button.

If your provider already has old records with the same name, delete or change them: two records that contradict each other stop the website from loading.

How long it takes

It usually shows in minutes or a few hours, though sometimes it takes up to a day. In the meantime, your website's test address keeps working.

If something goes wrong

  • It says "not verified": check you copied each record exactly, without spaces, and wait a while.
  • A security warning appears: the certificate takes a while to activate; wait and reload.
  • You don't know where you bought the domain: search your email for "domain" or "invoice".
