Products, prices, taxes and coupons
Create the products and services you sell with their price, add taxes and set up a coupon. You'll use them in invoices, estimates and payment links.

A product is anything you charge for: a service, a package, an item. Create it once and you can pick it in one click every time you bill.
Create a product
- Click Payments › Products.
- Click the button to create a new product.
- Type the name and a short description the customer will understand.
- Click Add Price and enter the amount.
- Choose whether the price is one-time or recurring (repeats every month or year).
- If you like, upload a photo.
- Save.
The same product can have several prices, for example a one-off and a monthly one.
If you charge "from" an amount and the final price depends on the job, create the product with the base price and adjust the amount when you invoice.
Add a tax
- In Payments, open Settings and look for taxes.
- Click Add Tax.
- Type the name and the percentage that applies to you. If you're unsure which to use, ask your accountant: it depends on your state and what you sell.
- Save and choose whether it applies by default.
Later, when you create an invoice or an estimate, you can turn it on or off.
Create a coupon
- Open Payments › Coupons.
- Click Create Coupon.
- Set an easy-to-remember code, such as WELCOME.
- Choose whether it takes off a percentage or a fixed amount.
- Set how long it's valid and how many times it can be used.
- Save.
Where they're used
If something goes wrong
- You can't find a product when invoicing: check it's saved and not archived.
- The tax comes out wrong: open the tax and check the percentage.
