An appointment is missing or shows the wrong time

If an appointment is missing from your calendar or shows the wrong time, check the business and user time zones, any connected external calendar and the view filters.

Updated

A missing appointment or a changed time is almost always down to the time zone, a view filter or an external calendar.

1. Clear the view filters

  1. Click Calendar in the top bar.
  2. See whether any filters are on: calendar, person or status.
  3. Remove them and search again, also in other weeks and in the day, week and list views.

A cancelled appointment or one marked "no-show" may be hidden by the status filter.

2. Check the time zone

There are two zones: your business's and each team member's.

  1. In Settings › Business Profile, check your business's time zone.
  2. In My Profile (your photo menu, top right), check your user's time zone.
  3. Make sure they match where your business is.

If you're traveling, your calendar may show times for whichever zone you have set.

3. Check your external calendar

If you connected Google Calendar or Outlook:

  • Check that the account is still connected. If not, connect it again: see Connect Google Calendar or Outlook.
  • An event of yours on the external calendar can block the slot and make it look like the appointment doesn't exist.

4. Look up the customer

Open Contacts and find their profile: you'll see their appointments there even if they don't show in the view. If the appointment doesn't exist, they may never have confirmed the booking.

If customers are in another time zone, the booking shows them their time and shows you yours. It's normal for the numbers not to match.
