My emails go to spam or don't arrive

If your emails land in spam or don't arrive, check your sending domain, the content, lists without consent and bounces, and how to review it step by step.

Updated

An email that lands in spam is an email nobody reads. It almost always improves with a few adjustments.

1. Check your sending domain

Email providers distrust senders without a verified domain.

  1. Go to Settings and find the email section (Email Services) and your sending domain.
  2. See whether your domain shows as verified.
  3. If not, our team will tell you which records to add where you bought your domain.

It's better to send from an email on your own domain than from a free one. See Send and receive email from NeuroAI.

2. Watch the content

  • A clear subject line, without ALL CAPS or lots of exclamation marks.
  • More text than images. An email that's just a picture raises suspicion.
  • Few links, and always to your own site.
  • Include your business name and the option to unsubscribe.

Sending to bought lists or to people who don't know you is the most common cause of spam. See Unsubscribes, STOP and customer consent.

4. Review the bounces

  1. Look at the results of your last campaign in Marketing › Emails.
  2. Emails that bounce are mistyped or no longer exist. Remove them from the list.
  3. If many are marked as spam, write less often and to people who open your emails.

Ask your customers to reply or save your email in their contacts. It improves your reputation.

5. Run a test

Send the email to yourself and to a Gmail or Outlook account. See which folder it lands in.
