Connect Google Calendar or Outlook
Sync your Google Calendar or Outlook with your calendar so nobody books when you're already busy, and learn how to reconnect it if it stops working.
Updated
If you use Google Calendar or Outlook for your daily life, connect it to NeuroAI. That way your customers can't book at a time when you already have something else.
Connect your calendar
- Go to Settings › Calendars and open the Connections tab.
- Click the button to connect Google Calendar or Outlook.
- Sign in with your Google or Microsoft account and accept the permissions it asks for. It may show the technical name of our connection provider instead of the name NeuroAI: this is normal and safe.
- Pick which calendar to use. Ideally one just for work, not your personal one with everything mixed in.
- Turn on the two options offered: NeuroAI appointments appear in that calendar, and what's already there blocks your availability.
- Save.
Only what you authorize is connected. You can disconnect your calendar whenever you like.
Check that it works
- Create a test event in your Google Calendar, at some time tomorrow.
- Open your booking link and check that time no longer shows as free. See Your booking link.
- Book a test appointment and check it appears in your external calendar. Delete the tests.
If it disconnects
Sometimes the calendar stops syncing, for example after you change your password.
- Go back to Settings › Calendars › Connections.
- Disconnect the calendar.
- Connect it again with the same steps.
If something goes wrong
- People still book busy times: check that the option to block with your events is on and the chosen calendar is the right one.
- A permissions error appears: reconnect and accept all the permissions.
