Do something with many contacts at once
Select several contacts at once to tag them, message them, add them to an automation or export them, with the precautions you need to take.

Bulk actions save you hours: instead of repeating the same thing for each customer, you do it once for everyone you choose.
What you can do with several contacts
- Add or remove a tag.
- Send them a message (email or SMS).
- Add them to an automation.
- Export them to a file.
- Delete them (carefully: it can't be undone).
How to do it
- Click Contacts.
- Filter first for the people you want. See Saved lists and filters.
- Tick the box next to each contact, or the box at the top to pick everyone on the page.
- The actions menu will appear at the top. Choose the one you need, for example Add Tag.
- Confirm. You'll see the progress and the result when it finishes.
Before you message many people
A bulk message can't be taken back once it's sent. Check it twice.
- Filter only for people with the marketing-eligible tag: they're the ones who gave permission.
- Read the whole text and make sure it has no mistakes or sample details.
- If it's your first time, test it with a small group or just yourself.
- If your list is very large, send in groups rather than everyone in the same minute.
Anyone who replies STOP or unsubscribes will stop receiving messages. See Unsubscribes, STOP and customer consent.
If something goes wrong
- The actions menu doesn't appear: you need to tick at least one contact first.
- Only the current page was selected: also tick the option to select all results of the filter, if it's offered.
- You sent something by mistake: tell your customers with a short apology message and write to us.
